You can however, turn on <em>viewport 2.0<\/em> on your stage (STAGE || Renderer &gt; Viewport 2.0) to see you changes on the stage but this depends if your video card supports <em>viewport 2.0<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; Also have <em>hardware texturing<\/em> turned on.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Use a Ramp Texture for your transparency.\n<ul>\n<li>&#8211; Select your sphere and RT + CLICK &gt; Favorite Material &gt; Ramp.<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; This will delete your <em>Blinn<\/em> material and apply your <em>ramp<\/em> material.<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; Add another color in the Transparency &gt; selected color attribute.<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; Notice the affect on the sphere.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.manibogstudios.com\/blogger\/2012\/09\/14\/lmt-2-3-creating-transparency\/lynda_materialstextures__065\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1824\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1824\" title=\"lynda_materialstextures__065\" src=\"http:\/\/www.manibogstudios.com\/blogger\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/lynda_materialstextures__065.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"860\" height=\"206\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.manibogstudios.com\/blogger\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/lynda_materialstextures__065.gif 860w, http:\/\/www.manibogstudios.com\/blogger\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/lynda_materialstextures__065-590x141.gif 590w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 860px) 100vw, 860px\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li>You can also add acheckeredmap one of the selected colors in he transparency.
