Click <strong>HYPERSHADE WINDOW || Clear Graph<\/strong> or press the clear graph button<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.manibogstudios.com\/blogger\/2011\/11\/15\/lesson-03-shaders-and-textures\/03_texturesndetails_008\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-401\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-401\" title=\"03_texturesNDetails_008\" src=\"http:\/\/www.manibogstudios.com\/blogger\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/03_texturesNDetails_008.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"144\" height=\"71\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li>&#8211; This clears the workspace so you can start a new shading network<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; Create a <em>Blinn <\/em>material. <strong>CREATE <\/strong>[tab]<strong> &gt; Blinn <\/strong><em><br \/>\n(Blinn gives you shininess of your material<\/em>)<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; Change the material node to <em>rockM in the Attribute Editor Window<\/em><\/li>\n<li>&#8211; Select every rock in the scene.<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; RMB on your <em>rockM <\/em>and select <em>Assign Material to Selection<\/em><\/li>\n<li>&#8211; With <em>rockM<\/em>selected, change the Specular Shading values in the Attribute Editor Window\n<ul>\n<li>Eccentricity: 0.8<\/li>\n<li>Specular Roll Off: 0.3<\/li>\n<li>Specular Color: Brown<\/li>\n<li>Reflectivity: 0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Adding a Fractal Texture<br \/>\nThe rocks look flat because they don&#8217;t have a grainy texture. Adding a fractal texture will help enhance the look of grainy-ness<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8211; In the <strong>Hypershade &gt; Create [tab] &gt; 2D Textures<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>&#8211; MMB drag a fractal node into the work area<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.manibogstudios.com\/blogger\/2011\/11\/15\/lesson-03-shaders-and-textures\/03_texturesndetails_009\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-402\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-402\" title=\"03_texturesNDetails_009\" src=\"http:\/\/www.manibogstudios.com\/blogger\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/03_texturesNDetails_009.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"430\" height=\"172\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li>&#8211; In the <em>work area MMB + DRAG<\/em> the fractal icon over <em>rockM<\/em><\/li>\n<li>&#8211; When you release another window will pop up.
