Apply a Bitmap as a Texture
- Create a NURBs plane.
- – Make sure the plane is a complete square.
- – Press 5 to turn shading on.
- – Turn Hardware Texturing On

- Create a material to place your bitmap on.
- – Decide what type of material you are creating.
- – In this example I created a lambert.
- – Navigate to the Attribute Editor with your plane selected.
- – Click on the material tab, in this example, that’s my lambert tab.
- Change the color sectionto a bitmap.
- – Click on the checked icon on the right to color.
- – Select file in the popup window.
- – Go back to your Attribute Editor and click on the file tab.

- – Load your bitmap in your texture ATTRIBUTE EDITOR || File attribute > Image Name.
- – Select your bitmap.
- – I created a perfect square as an image.

- Modifying The bitmaps Attributes
- You can adjust several properties.
- Coverage: place the image 1 to 1.
- Translate: moves the image
- Rotate: rotates image from center.
- Mirror: repeats image
- Interactive Placement Button

- – Click on the Interactive Placement button
- – Use the MMB to rotate, scale and translate.
- – Corner point: rotate;
- – Center Point: translate
